Camping L’Escapade
Our History
Before the Second World War, the school and the town hall of Cahagnolles were located on the same site of the Camping L’Escapade today.
On August 8, 1944, an allied bomber crashed into the two buildings, which were totally destroyed. A farm will then be established there.
L’Escapade campsite in Calvados was created in 1981 on this former farm. Over the past 40 years, four owners have succeeded one another. Since June 1, 2021, Véronique and Laurie have been running the campground. Their goal is to beautify the campground each year while preserving its environment and history.
