The retractable cover allows you to enjoy therelaxing water, heated to 30°C, whatever the weather. From early April to mid-October, you can take a dip, swim laps or simply relax in the 20m-long pool. Lying back in a deckchair with a book in your hands, you can also enjoy a spot of sunbathing in summer. Younger children are not left out. A 60 cm-deep paddling pool lets them cool off and play in complete safety. An 18-metre-long slide is available for the more daring. Two tracks are available for racing! We offer a 4-bedroom gîte just a few yards from the campsite that can accommodate 14 people. A large living room gives you all the space you need for your stay while enjoying all the facilities of the campsite (including the heated and covered swimming pool ) and the campsite activities in July and August.
Tourism in Lisieux
Capital of the Pays d’Auge region in Calvados, Normandy, Lisieux is a small town of around 20,000 inhabitants. It has a long history, dating back to antiquity, and is known as France’s second-largest pilgrimage center. There are many places of interest. By following the town’s tourist trails, you can explore the streets of the center and its superb half-timbered houses, coming face to face with the beautiful Saint-Pierre de Lisieux cathedral.
A little further south, you won’t want to miss the imposing basilica of Sainte-Thérèse-de-Lisieux, a white neo-Byzantine edifice whose construction began in 1929. Also worth a visit is the Carmel de Lisieux, home to the reliquary of Sainte-Thérèse-de-Lisieux, and Les Buissonnets, the house where she lived before entering Carmel.
But tourism in Lisieux isn’t just about religion. Art lovers, for example, can enjoy a visit to the Musée d’art et d’histoire de Lisieux, while children are sure to appreciate the Cerza animal park.
