A large living room gives you all the space you need for your stay while enjoying all the facilities of the campsite (including the heated and covered swimming pool ) and the campsite activities in July and August.
Tourism in Honfleur
A small port town in eastern Calvados, Honfleur is a city of art. Numerous artists and poets have stayed here to capture the gentle, timeless atmosphere that makes the town so charming. In the second half of the 19th century, it was even the center of a colony of artists and painters known as the Honfleur School.
It’s a small, touristy town on the banks of the Seine and its magnificent beaches, and well worth a detour to discover its many secrets. Start with a stroll around the Vieux Bassin, with its 17th and 18th century houses listed as historic monuments. Many painters have spent hours in front of these houses.
Photographers will love the reflections of the houses in the water of the basin. Another special feature of Honfleur is its wooden church, Sainte-Catherine, the oldest part of which dates back to the 15th century. There are many fine museums to visit during your camping holiday in Honfleur: the Maisons Satie, where the famous composer was born, the Eugène Boudin Museum, the Musée de la Marine and the Musée d’Ethnographie.
The curious can also visit the salt granaries. There are also several artists’ studios to discover as you explore Honfleur. To the north of the town, don’t miss a stroll through the Jardin des Personnalités, a superb seaside park where busts of the town’s beloved celebrities adorn the promenades.
And a little further west is the beautiful sandy beach of Butin. For a view of the town, head for the Mont-Joli panorama, a little to the west of the town center not far from your rental. From here, you’ll be able to see the Pont de Normandie and the Honfleur lighthouse during your stay.
